I took Otto for a walk before packing up in Charleston and guess what we saw??? You are right, a gator in the water right in front of us. At first I thought "it's an alligator" then, nooo, can't be, it's a tree trunk ... then it started swimming away. It's a little one, but even they get hungry.

We are on the way to New Bern, NC, now.

Ging mit Otto spazieren vor unserer Abfahrt von Charleston, schaute in den See vor uns und dachte ich sah einen Alligatoren. Dann dachte ich, nein, das kann nicht sein, ist wohl ein Stueck von einem Baum, bis er anfing zu schwimmen. Ist ein Kleiner, aber auch die werden hungrig!

Wir sind jetzt auf dem Weg nach New Bern, NC.
