left Virginia and arrived in Bellefonte, PA

Our time with Renee and family was lovely. Our grandson Travis and I spent hours in the kiddy pool which was the only place to be in the incredible heat we experienced. That is until the last day when the rain set in. Our trip to Bellefonte was nothing but rain and fog, up and down mountains, and the forecast for the next days for here and Niagara Falls is not a good one. But, we are on the road again!

The KOA in Bellefonte is absolutely beautiful and I would love nothing better than to take a swim in the pool and get out with Otto for a long walk. Yet, it's not going to happen due to the rain I was talking about.

So, instead of sending pictures of this really super place I enclose a picture of all of Matt's kids, who were there when we got to Renee's.

Unsere Zeit mit Renee war sehr schoen. Unser kleiner Travis und ich lagen stundenlang im kleinen aufblasbaren Schwimmbad, was der einzig wirklich angenehme Platz war in der Hitze. Doch den letzten Tag regnete es nur und hat bisher noch nicht aufgehoert. Wir hatten auch nichts als Regen auf unserem Weg nach Bellefonte und aus meinem Wunsch, schwimmen zu gehen und mit Otto herumzuspazieren, wird nichts. Die Vorhersage fuer die naechsten Tage ist auch nicht gut, was die Niagara Faelle einschliesst. Doch wir sind wieder unterwegs und hoffen auf's Beste.

Der Campingplatz hier in Bellefonte ist sehr sehr schoen und vielleicht koennen wir es auf dem Rueckweg nochmals besuchen. Haette auch gern Bilder geknipst von dieser schoenen Gegend.

Anbei sende ich ein Bild von Matt's Kindern, einschliesslich Travis, die noch bei Renee waren als wir ankamen.
