Honesdale, PA

We try not to drive more than 4 to 5 hours maximum per day. That's the reason we decided to stop in Honesdale, PA. And boy, I do love this site and the people here. Our GPS sent us over the mountain and through very narrow roads whereas Rt. 6 could have gotten us here without any problems.
Once we arrived Donnie said "may be it took longer than I thought" when we looked at Santa Claus sitting in front of the camp office. Christmas in July!!!!
Needless to say, Otto made friends again and had more photo sessions!


Wir versuchen, nie mehr als hoechstens 4 bis 5 Stunden zu fahren per Tag. Das brachte uns heute nach Honesdale, PA. Unser GPS fuehrte uns ueber die Berge und durch enge Gassen und als wir ankamen meinte Don "es hat wohl doch laenger gedauert als ich dachte" als wir Santa Claus ins Gesicht schauten. Weihnachten im Juli!!!! Die Ueberraschung war, dass es hier wirklich schoen ist. Der Campingplatz ist so gemuetlich und die Leute sind sehr freundlich. Und Otto machte natuerlich wieder Freunde und wurde wieder fotografiert.
