We arrived in Herkimer, NY. It's a beautiful place but we won't be able to enjoy it much due to the continuous rain! This place would be nice to visit with kids who could go and try themselves in mining diamond. The camping place too has much to offer besides the lakes of water we experience right now. Otto enjoyed the K-9 place for a little bit until his "mother" pulled him back to the RV. After all, a wet dog turns into a stinking dog!
By the way, Danielle, there are no Dobies allowed here, stupied people!
Tomorrow we'll go on to Danville, VT. I don't know if we will have internet connection there. I doubt it! That means, you won't be hearing from me until the 8th of July, when we leave for Maine. By that time I should have enough pictures of Don's parents and siblings and of hopefully some memorable events.
Wir sind in Herkimer, NY, angekommen. Es ist ein wirklich schoener Platz und Kinder koennten hier Spass haben, sich im Diamantensuchen zu versuchen. Leider regnet es aber wieder, was es wesentlich angenehmer im Wohnwagen macht. Otto war mal kurz raus, wurde aber schnell wieder von seiner "Mutter Helga" in den RV geschleppt, denn ein nasser Hund wird schnell zu einem stinkenden Hund.
Morgen geht es weiter nach Danville, VT. Ich glaube kaum, dass wir dort Internetanschluss haben werden. Das wuerde heissen, dass ich vor dem 8. Juli keine weitere Eintragung machen kann. Am 8. geht es weiter nach Maine.
Danach kommen dann auch Berichte und Bilder von Don's Eltern und Geschwistern.
